Solution Mining of Potash Deposits
Solution mining can provide a cost effective, efficient, and safe way to extract soluble minerals. Wells are planned to be re-entered and/or drilled into the Potash-bearing area and heated seawater pumped down the wells to dissolve the Lithium/Potash salts. The Lithium/Potash brine solution is then returned to the surface to be evaporated and/or extracted.
Salt beds intercepted in the Yaringa-1, Hamelin Pool-1 Wells within the Company’s tenements.
Hamelin Pool-2 is 9km to the south.
